✨SKIN DETOX✨ The same way we try cleansing our bodies, we should try detoxifying the skin. Pollution, oils & sweat, toxins... it would be wise if we do something like this 1 x week, especially during the hot months. ____________ Here's what I do: STEP 1 : EXFOLIATE 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 1/2 teaspoon Bentonite clay A little green tea Mix everything into a paste & gently rub into the skin in circular motions. Let it sit 2-3 min then rinse & pat dry. ____________ STEP 2 : STEAM Boil water & add 2-3 drops of each essential oil. I used tree & lavender. Other skin-loving options are eucalyptus, rosemary & chamomile. Steam for 5-10 minutes to purify the pores. ____________ STEP 3 : MASK 1/2 teaspoon raw honey 1 tablespoon witch hazel 1 tablespoon Bentonite clay 2-4 capsules of charcoal Optional to add a few drops of tea tree oil as well. Apply & leave on 20 min then rinse off, pat dry & follow with moisturizer. ____________ As a lifestyle choice for clean skin, it's also recommended to AVOID: Processed sugars & dried fruit Dairy products Artificial sweeteners Alcohol Cigarettes Coffee Also, it would be ideal to incorporate DETOX FOODS into your diet. 💛 Here's an amazing {DIY} face mask that will give you clear, glowing, bright skin without the yellow stain! It also helps to remove facial hair! ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ 💛You will need: • 1 small pack Gelatine: Agar Agar is a great vegan sub! • 1 Tbsp gram flour: Brightens skin • 1/4 Turmeric: Antiseptic + antibacterial • 1 tsp honey: Natural moisturizers and exfoliates skin • 1 Tbsp milk: Brightens + moisturizers skin ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ 💛To make, combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix until you get a thick paste. Add mixture in microwave for 10 seconds. ‼️Let mask cool before applying all over skin‼️ Apply a thick layer on skin and let dry completely. Peel off mask and wash face with warm skin water.
